User & Safety Guide

1. Power & Connection Safety

  1. Avoid poor contact between the battery connector and ESC connector, as this may cause arcing, plug melting, or sudden high current that could damage the ESC. Never plug or unplug the motor wires while the system is powered on.
  2. Always use batteries within the recommended voltage range. Over-voltage may permanently damage the ESC. Ensure the battery provides stable voltage and meets the required discharge rating.

2. Installation & Environment

  1. Ensure proper airflow around the ESC for cooling. Avoid using the ESC in harsh conditions such as excessive dust, sand, or rain.
  2. Install the ESC away from strong electromagnetic interference and other sensitive electronics to prevent signal loss or unstable control.
  3. When not in use, remove the battery and store it at proper storage voltage. Leaving a battery connected for long periods may cause over-discharge and damage the battery.

3. Setup & Operation

  1. Power-on sequence:
    • On: Turn on the transmitter first, then power on the ESC.
    • Off: Turn off the ESC first, then power off the transmitter.
  2. Before first use, calibrate the ESC, motor, and transmitter throttle to ensure accurate control.
  3. If the car moves backward when pulling forward throttle after calibration, the motor rotation direction may not match the installation. Swap any two motor wires to correct the direction.
  4. During continuous running, monitor ESC and motor temperatures. If overheating occurs, check the drivetrain load and gear ratio.
    • Recommended maximum temps:
      • ESC: ~80°C
      • Motor: ≤100°C

4. App & Firmware Update

  1. The ESC has a built-in Bluetooth module. Download the mobile app, search for the device, and connect to adjust settings as described in the manual.
  2. If a new firmware version is available, the app will notify you. When upgrading, ensure stable network connection and sufficient phone battery. Do not exit the app or disconnect during update.
